With winter officially sidelined - even if the weather continues to weave a different pattern - pops of color are sprouting in the D.C. area almost as if to ensure a fresh season is on its way.


Visiting Savannah this past weekend offered a sweet nod to spring with the historic district dressed in fluffy azaleas bursting in vibrant displays of pinks and soft corals at the foot of old oak trees dripping in green-gray moss and the sunshine playfully warming the light breezes.

A hint of anticipation that a cyclical reset is just around the corner...
